We accept the challenge. Lets call this a funwar match. =)

When you say eoN matches, did you mean the 'eoN Clanwar Server'? When I checked the serverlist, that is the only eoN server on the list. Just double-checking we are looking at the correct server. ^^

So here is the information for the Funwar (Any changes needed?):

Date: Sunday September 26th 2010
Time: 18 GMT
Server: eoN Clanwar Server (unless there is a different name Very Happy)
Password: Will be sent by Earth

Map: scavenger

That sound good? =)

Oops, made a mistake in my post. 20 CEST is 18 GMT I believe. (Not 19 GMT or 17 GMT).

My timezone is doesn't matter. =) I won't be able to come to the match -- I'll be arriving back from college camping trip that day. (I did calculations, the funwar will be over by the time I return from camping)

I think all the details are just about set? Have some good fun. =)

Password posted in member's section. (Server name is eoN Clanwar Server, isn't it Feathers? You keep saying eoN matches but I don't see a server with that name. xD)

Anyways, have fun everyone. Got two former TH members in Earth, so no trash-talking or being arrogant jerks. Behave yerselves and see how well we can face Earth. =]

i agree

we realy have to start getting more active if we wanne keep the fun in wars.
first we had to pic a commander, thanks to crashday and morget we had 2 commanders for the war.

second we had only 4 players from the 20+ members we have in our family.
thanks to epic blood we had 5 members.

if we wanne keep the fun for all in playing wars, we need to work harder to plan the wars. if we can't have enough players, don't accept the challange please.

First things first,

Gracious thanks Earth clan for having the funwar match with us. It is always a pleasure to have chances to play with other fellow Savage players in a fun and light-hearted environment.

To djargon, although it isn't courteous to accept challenges and then have barely enough members show up to form a team, it is also rather pointless to never accept challenges just because of inactive members. Accepting challenges stirs in-game activity, it is an opportunity to become more active, and how else can in-game activity be reached for the clan if we never accept challenges -- no matter how active or inactive members are -- it just makes more sense to accept the challenges and to hope each one will be a fun chance to clan members to participate and become more involved. =)

And this was a funwar challenge as well -- not a clanwar challenge -- which means we don't have to worry so much. Funwars are a simple event where clans can have a friendly skirmish with each other -- we don't have to fuss about missing members or official NSL rules or time issues.

Until the day this clan reaches 0 members, we will continue to accept challenges as long as the other clans will have us.

Thank you again Earth, if you wish to have a friendly match again anytime in the future, just visit our forums and ask. =)

i don't say we can't accept wars.

but when you know we don't have enough players for a war, why then accept?
i also wanne play as much ass possible and wanne be with the hunters, but if we don't have enough players, so be it. earth was not so happy with the 'funwar' becaus we had no organisation for the war.

funwar or clanwar, is for me the same, both clan live up to that war, and if then 1 clan say 'we don't have enough' it's not fun for that clan, so i don't follow your argue on the funwar.

don't get me wrong, i don't give critic on our way or working, i just wanne make players awake and ask for more activity to bring the fun ingame back.

We definitely agree on the same thing djargon -- we both want to have see some more activity from members to start having more fun in-game. I have nothing against you there, I'm very happy you feel that way, and know we'll be able to use that in a positive way. =)

I'm simply pointing out that we never really know who will show up for matches -- the thing with gaming clans is that people always have real lives to live, and sometimes people just don't have time to post 'I'll be coming to the match'. So sometimes we might have 10 players come to a match, and other times we might only get 4 players. It really is unpredictable.

I understand where you are coming from, and what you are trying to say -- in that it is bad form to say at a clanwar/funwar, 'Sorry we don't have enough members.'. In no way do we ever here at TH, nor do I personally, ever want to be having to say that, and in during the times we do, I always hope it isn't taken too badly by the opposite clan, but taken very seriously on our own behalf.

Perhaps what I'm trying to say is: Yes, accepting challenges only to not have enough players on the day of, is very disrespectful and bad form for a clan and the community. If we choose to accept a challenge, we should have the integrity to show up with enough members to play. At the same time, accepting challenges are one of the few active events that can get people active in the first place. It is a challenging task to balance between accepting challenges and making sure we don't break our side of the promise on the day of the match.

If it helps, we will definitely consider being more careful about accepting challenges in the future to reduce the recurring incidents of 'Sorry, not enough members on today.' =)

Earth clan, if you wish to discuss anything regarding this match, you can contact me privately via PM. (If you want to have another match in the future, you can just create a new topic.)

Closed.
