One thing you appreciate in Savage

I think there should be more kindness and appreciation in this world, and Savage is no exception. So this thread will be dedicated to all the acts of kindness, or small things people do in Savage that you APPRECIATE. For those of you that fail to understand what this word means, it means the following;

Something that someone does that is a small thing, but very helpful to you in your eyes.

Don't think of giving me any [Insert Violent Phrase Concerning Behe+Chiprel Reproduction] either. Please only post things that truly are overlooked and things people often take for granted. Don't post stupid or idiotic things like 'Oooo i appreciate when goes on a rampage! Hur hurrrr! (<---Stupid)' or also anything along the lines of 'duude, i appreciate when Comm actually gets off his ASS! LOL!'.

If anyone of you post like the above, then your post will be removed with no warning. Shape up your act, or leave this community if your going to be a jerk.

Moving on. ^.^ Everyone posts one thing they appreciate each time, and then eventually maybe we'll have a big, fun list of things people like in Savage that others can read and enjoy.


I'll start first;

I appreciate it when someone else is farming monkits for some gold says thank-you after they see me patiently waiting on the side for them to finish getting their gold so that I can go next. It's nice to know they saw what I was doing and said thank you to me for waiting my turn. Makes me want to wait my turn more often. ^^

One thing that i really apreciate is when the team obeys the comm.

I appreciate it when someone lets me have the money of the guy I just killed and doesn't just steal it.

I appreciate it when I'm a siege unit like a summ, ballista, or catapult, and the comm actually marks a target to attack, instead of just letting the siege units aim at useless stuff. Giving us siege units a specific building, etc, to attack gives us focus for the game.

(Hint: Tushaar, try again matey! Edit your post with a something better or else....delete! ^.^)

I appreciate it when a comm marks something important in red, and the team actually re-spawns at nearest base, and then goes there as a group.

Safety in numbers.

I appreciate it when Comms (Commanders), AND players on a team actually work together to organize rushes that work. (Ie. Behe Trains, Cata-Balli rushes, etc)

Lots of times one person on the team tries to call/start a rush somewhere, but it usually fails because nobody listens to them (Unless 2/3 of the team are made of veterans that actually listen to fellow team-mates). Usually, it takes both Commanders and players on a team to get rushes done properly. Commander has some really good abilities to help organize rushes, like drawing on the Minimap, and being able to enforce orders through voice chat. When players see a Commander giving orders to Behe rush or attack somewhere, it usually works better than if a single player on the team called for a rush. Of course, you also need the help of the entire team to listen to when a rush is being organized, and to get prepared for it appropriately.

It's rare, but I have seen successful rushes, and usually it's almost always because the Commander is active and communicating with the team, and the team listens and pays attention to orders and the commander.

i appreciate it when players immolate themself. like the first behe by a behe rush.
often its so that 10 behes stand behind a wall and nobody goes forward--> rush fails

I find funny when I place a demo, I relocate and all the beats go for the demo. As soon as I reloc, I kill 5 enemies with demo

I appreciate TeamWork

And I find funny thwn I go for a spire, press 4, click and then I realize that I placed a sensor instead of a demo

I appreciate it when the team responds to base alerts quickly. (Ie. When siege units are attacking the base, the team tries to return to base where ever they are on the map to help.)

I hate losing my relocater -_-

How to do this? I often have the problem, that I'm far away from any sub/garr and so are the most of the Team. Just type /kill? This is risking a long respawn-time and loosing 6000 of teams gold (As long as you play with the Team I think any gold is teams gold)

I appreciate when we have some good shamans/chappys in the team, which don't care for stats but try to keep the fighting forces alive at any costs. I think this is somewhat underrated on most servers, Newerth G & G is mostly well crowded with healers, sometimes even too well.

i appreciate it when players cover a siege unit. i hate it when you go with a balli an 10 legos stand next to you but nobody cares if somebody attacks you.

Now, combine the two things!
I appreciate it when shamans or chaplains cover a siege unit, and support it by buffing and healing and help the other convoy members. (Legos/Preds and the other healers)

I appreciate it when people take time to be friendly in the chat box even when in the middle of a match. Ie. "Good hit! xD", "Dang it I'll get ya next time. xD" Makes things more fun to play when you know you can be fighting the other team without worrying about trash-talkers complaining or flaming during the middle of the fight. Can really bring the atmosphere down. xD

I like it when the comm builds glitch towers so you can climb up and snipe with coil ..xD
I also appreciate when people are friendly, and don't care about stats, as long as your teammate survives at any cost..

I appreciate all those team mates who help you when you are surrounded and attacked by 2 or 3 enemies instead watching or passing by.Sometimes a little help is life saving.

I appreciate all the teamplay action like:
organized chainsacs
demoruns and behetrains
shamans shielding and healing summoners

I don't know any other game which is that much focused on teamplay. That's why Savage is my favourite

I love being hit by a behe -> behefly -> landing on ANOTHER behe!

I appreciate all the demoruns that work perfectly

I appreciate recieving support as it's done in a real team, rather than having nearby allies wait for me to deal all the damage and die only to grab all the glory for themselves, then boast about how good they are.
