[Game] Warsow

Hey Hunterz!

Perhaps some of you have already heard about the game Warsow. It's a really funny and super fast first person shooter. When I played this game the first time I was like "WHAAAT??". Some players moved very fast. It was because of the Quake-Engine. This engine allows trickjumping/bunny hopping which some of you might be familiar with. Up to now I improved a bit in trickjumping but it's still difficult for me, though lots of fun Down below more information about the game!


About Warsow

Warsow is set in a futuristic cartoonish world where rocketlauncher-wielding pigs and lasergun-carrying cyberpunks roam the streets. It is a completely free, fast-paced first-person shooter for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

Speed and movement is what Warsow is all about. Like a true cyberathlete you jump, dash, dodge, and walljump your way through the game. Grab power-ups before your enemy does, plant a bomb before anyone sees you, and steal the enemy’s flag before they know what is going on!

Our goal is to offer a fast and fun competitive first-person shooter without hard graphical violence - Warsow has no blood or guts flying around. Red stars instead of blood indicate hits and colored cubes replace guts as gib effects.

When I watched this trailer the first time I was like "WHAAAT??".

Holy crap, those people go all over the place!!! Looks quite fun, though!!!
So it is just one map where you run amok all the time? Or do maps switch as well?

there are lots of different maps and lots of different servers. it's kinda like savage.

Yeah, played this game a few times, but switched to QuakeLive then, no idea why tho

I do suck at FPS games, but love to play them, especially those "3 dimension games", where your enemy is not only in front, behind or on a side, no, he could also be right on top of you, or shooting you from the bottom while you just tried to jump peacefully over a bridge.

Way better than all the other "realistic" FPS like CS or COD
These games require real skill, just like Savage does!

(Maybe that's the reason why I suck so much )
