TH in Hon?

Well, I play HoN now and then so I was wondering if any of you did, and if so, we could make a TH clan in HoN?

I was actually about to make a topic about this earlier haha. I just got an email apparently saying I have a HoN Beta Key. Is HoN any good? It's just like an RPG game I heard right? Like runescape or something?

5 vs 5 is max....and it's like Savage so you load it map by map? Geeze...there is no fun teamwork there like in massive Savage games or even on RPG games like Aion, Guild Wars, Conquer Online...etc....

Elitist indeed. I'm not going to go for it then. I hate small, elite groupings. All they care about is playing for stats and winning...I've seen that happen in other games.

Let me explain. Although I do agree the community is the most corrupted in all of gaming, the game is actually a very, very well-made game.
Basically, there was a mod of warcraft three (dotA) Which became the second most played mod in the world (after CSs and before Gary's mod)
and S2games, said.
"Hey! Let's make this mod into a standalone with all the same heroes (the people you control) and make a ton of money out of it!"
In the end they did, making HoN. It is a game where you control a hero who has 3 abilitys and an Ultimate, and you try to destroy their base.

The gam is very complicated but a lot of fun, and TN I suggest you go to Heroesofnewerth.com to look at the screenshots to say for yourself wether you like it or not.

Ah, wow. The graphics and levels look beautiful and astounding. I would love to play this game if it was more of a 'dungeon-romp' kind of game. (Ex, you actually explore a world together with other players on the same team, and you fight monsters/bosses in dungeons, do quests, progress through the world, etc.) Sort of like Diablo I and II, or Dungeon Siege, Lord of the Rings Online or EverQuest.

Graphics look those games mentioned above, but I guess since the gameplay is limited to 5vs5, and the fact you only play on one individual map at anytime, and also that you can only face other humans (instead of being able to face AI-bosses and monsters), it just isn't for me.

If you guys see a game with graphics like this AND is massively multiplayer, AND you work together with humans and not against them (Ex, NOT PvP, only PvE), then I'd be interested in looking it up more. xD

Unfortunately, not many games have PvE (Players versus Environment, Environment means opponents are all AI-Controlled), and PvP seems to be the most popular.

I personally despite PvP, because it brings out the worst in people. You get the jerks, the flamers, the immature, the disrespectful, and just generally the beast within people that want to beat each other up in a virtual game.

I like games where all humans work together to fight AI-controlled enemies that can provide difficulty just like a real player. It's called Co-op kind of games I think.

I'm only playing Savage because there is a faint level of teamwork, friendship, and non-jerk attitude here among people like you guys.

Trust me, I hate jerks. I hate them like I hate racists or bullies. Which is probably why if HoN has a lot of the jerks playing, I'm definitely not going to go into that game.

Oh well....maybe one day there will be a really good game that won't be taken over by jerks....
