What specs are you guys playing with? (NEED RESPONSES!)

OKi then guys i need your help, i can put together a list of things todo to speed up savage (i said id do it eons ago but i forgot) to do this it would be nice to know what the minimum specs of people's pc's are

This is so that i know where your pc is compared to my testing one :-


Testing one = 512 MB Ram
1 GHZ amd sempron - maybe :s its that old it aint branded propley >,<

G force MX2 (it could be mx4 i need to check when i get home)
OR
Ati 9600 - Not the nvidia one - also need to check when i get home

Just a summary of the specs like that would be good, also it wil show if i start getting better fps than you guys with lower specs you have room for improvement

(P.S i wont be able to start on this till im home for christmas sorry guys, ive only room for 1 pc at uni not the 3 )

oki then ill give people a better idea of what i want

Operating system - What it is, windows vista, XP, linux, 7 ect
Ram - How much ram there is - Speed if you know - type if you know (ie ddr ddr2 ddr3)
GRaphics card - What graphics processor there is
Processor - What model it is IE Q6600 E6600 Celron 6600 - if not know make, speed, and anything else


Ways of getting this information

Windows - Control panel > System information (graphics card is in display not sure bout the others)

Some times on the front of the pc

Also if you want you can look up CPU-Z and GPU-Z which will tell me all the information i need

just take a screeni of all panels

FPS for most servers on average jumps a lot. I'm usually always on the laggy side of things -- even when using SFE.

No overclocking for me. I've read a lot about it, but I decided to never do it because I've heard it's possible to corrupt your computer that way. That's the way my computer stats show up as.

Hmm, I got slightly confused when you said 'Benchmark'. I'm afraid my english isn't that good myself. ^^ What do you mean by benchmark? All the rest seem like a good enough foundation to start your project.

benchmark is when u test a game with some different settings and u note down the results, fps, config etc.
