Rome Total War (PC!!)

seeing as most of you have pc and not most of the other consoles i thought i might aswell do this game
again a very good game

Love it! Love this game! I still have it on my computer! The massive battles and management of an empire is really awesome here. You also get lots detailed control of your empire, your troops, your cities, etc. The world map is very diverse and detailed to the time of the Rome and all the other classical civilizations.

My favorites tactic is to get to building archers and long-ranged units as soon as I can. Then I start focusing on building cavalry units to complement my armies. Then whenever I go into battle, I have the archers pepper the enemy, and I sent cavalry on the flanks to attack. Top that off with a few units of standard hastati charging up the middle with my general behind, and it usually works 80% of the time with little casualties. = ) Of course, there are many other strategies too. =D

Also, on my biggest game, I have made my Roman army send an expedition force far away to start conquering some other distant lands and to establish a base. =D

Very good game. It's not too complicated, and you have settings to turn management of your empire to auto or manual. Extremely good game. The battles will keep you coming back again and again.

Rome total War, and Medival total War are just 2 games that are unmatched by any other for tactics

LOL STARCRAFT IS LIKE THE MOST OWNAGE STRATEGY GAME!
This game is so balanced perfectly
U can actually learn things from the game
and its not only like build massive army atack and destroy the enemy
U have to think and make strategies...
change strategies from time to time and suprise the enemy with things he never saw
for example:
I once build an entire base behind the enemy base and atacked him while his army was on its way to my main base....
Its not like the other strategy games that with some luck an average player could win a pro...
In SC there are so many ranks ... and if u are an average player u will never win a pro
Well now I want to play it again

I´m so sorry to say guys, but Age of Empires II is still the best strategy game and it will remain the best Oldschool rockz the shit^^

I agree, Blizzard is awesome, but in AoEII there IS a strategy. All the peoples have different strenghts but also weak points.

Warcraft 3 is also mega

AoM is nice but after u see all the units its getting boring
Warcraft 3 is nice but SC is much better...
In SC every unit have another unit that i good against him ...
In WC 3 every KIND of units is good against others
Like... Range are good against air and armomred melee
I mean in WC 3 if u have an army that is good against ground and air... u can just start building and building the same units
But in SC if ur enemy is changing tact in the middle u need to scout all the time to see it and build the units that are good against the units he build.... and an army with anti air too wont always help cuz u still need units that are good against the enemy units
