New Console

Apparently, there is a new console coming out pretty soon.
I don't know much about it, and I wanna know what you have heard about it

Hmm, is it along the Nintendo branch, or the Xbox, or the Playstation? That's my question. xD

It's some kind of Wii.
Dunno about anything else...

Stay away from consoles people, those are meant only for gaming. Stick to the computers, that way you can do something useful too.

Why would one play console? Computer is better somehow, at least I think so. You can do a lot of more things with it, it is upgradeable, so does not grow old to fast, and has Savage running, which is the greatest argument in favor^^ The only really great console is the Linux-Terminal^^ There are even games for it^^ If we have some Linuxers here try "sudo apt-get install ninvaders" and then start it with "ninvaders"(tested on Ubunto 9.10 Karmic, don't know how it works on other systems)

xD I agree! Unfortunately lots of great games have only been designed for consoles, not the computer, and so more attention goes over there. >.< (There are some great 2-4 player coop games on consoles I would love to have seen on PC!)

I must say that the time off consols only being able to game is over. PLaystation is more than just a console. and If you look at the stats, mutch cheaper for the power you get than a computer. (it can easily beat a overcloced I7 with a 295 card. for a third of the price) And i use it not only for gaming, its my blu-ray player, my dataplayer (playin movies and co from a memo stic or harddriver). I think a console is good.

And adam, i think what you heard is a new remote for the ps3 witch is simular to a wiimote, but is mutch better (seriously, it is)

It's normal, the consoles we're created for games, the computer... not.

However there is a debate that computers have the best graphics quality for games (if you have a good computer that is). Not even the best of the consoles can compete with the same game on the computer at highest settings (again only if someone has a computer good enough).
