Savage-Related Video Collection

Hello! Welcome to the thread. This is a list of Savage: The Battle for Newerth videos that have been uploaded to the internet by many people from around the Savage Community. Some are made by the original company, while others are submitted by people whom play and enjoy the game as a fellow gamer. The purpose of this thread is to collect these videos from around the internet (if deemed worthy enough to be added), and to link them all to one central location -- this very topic your reading. We hope this will not only help promote new Savage videos, but to also archive and keep old ones alive and easy for people to still watch. As time goes on we will add more videos and information to this topic, so stay tuned, and tell your friends about Savage -- get them to join this game if they want to try it! ^^

Note to Moderators: This list is in alphabetical order, from A-Z. Please keep it this way if you have any videos to add. Thanks. =)

a savage xr video - by crashday
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zl0Yl_vnt0
On June 15th 2010, an epic skirmish takes place in the world of Newerth. A detachment of Jerazadiah's mighty Legionaires engage in a fierce battle against a squadron of opposing Summoners. Spreading out to punch through the Summoners using ranged weapons, the Legionaires are quickly overrun by hostile Predators dispatching a fast counter-attack. Featuring epic music, some video effects just for testing reasons, you'll be treated to a pretty nice clip out of the kind of battles you might see while playing Savage: The Battle for Newerth.

Best Melee Combat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4EaaRoACrk
Released on May 24th 2010, this Youtube video is another addition to the growing collection of stellar promotion material being created by members of the Savage Community. With high-quality video and great visuals as well as an ongoing narrative by one of the community's own players, you will forget that this was made by fans of the game and think that this was an official publication by the company that released Savage itself. The video covers and explains the melee system of Savage XR, as well as other aspects of the game; such as the RTS elements, the first-person-shooter elements, and weapons, strategies, etc. An extremely well-made video. Worth watching both for people who already play Savage to see how much energy there still is in the fan-base, and also for newcomers to get an idea of whether this game is suitable for them or not. Watch it and read the video description for further details.

Newerth's Savage XR: The Rage of the Beast
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avbCBucCt-w
March 15, 2010. On this day a video containing great promotional elements of Savage XR is released on Youtube. Created by Butterfly and promoted on Tirza's Youtube channel, both members of the Savage Community, this video showcases some of the splendid moments of teamwork and intense fighting that can be experienced in the game. Moments of intense chaotic battling, fending off an incoming rush from beastly-looking stalkers, the demonstration of a summoner successfully attacking a human base with two shamans providing support, all this and more can be seen through entire 9:37 minutes of great action and accompanying music. Take a look, and spread this video to your friends -- it may be the hook, line and sinker to convincing them to download this game and joining Savage: The Battle for Newerth.

Savage Battle for Newerth nomad and launcher+behemoth
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5RBgydBPYY
September 30th 2010, a short little clip showing a clever stunt by a nomad and a launcher weapon onto the top of a behe is uploaded by diamondZBISKA. A fun 43-second segment that should draw some chuckles from those of you that know the game well.

Savage Battle for Newerth: demolition charge and summoner
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WY-ScZvLPc
November 21st 2010, uploaded by diamondZBISKA. A neat little moment in the game where a demolition charge is set behind a summoner and the result is...well how about you see for yourself. It can be a very entertaining 44 seconds to watch over and over again.

Savage Game Music
https://www.youtube.com/user/HurlyBurly3027#grid/user/396514BDF0BD4A6F
Presenting the five soundtracks heard throughout Savage, you can listen to these songs directly for their soothing or often action-paced melody. Each of the five songs are the same ones you hear while going about your business within Savage -- whether your attacking a base, scouting the map, building a forward outpost, or heroically defending your own base -- these are the one and only soundtracks that the Savage Community has lived with since the first day the game was released. Videos generously uploaded by HurlyBurly3027 to youtube.

Savage XR: Free Real-time Strategy Shooter (RTS / FPS Hybrid)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWSPdINFddI
Brought to the internet on June 23rd 2010, this video is the premier and end-result of careful editing and coordination by Tirza. By combining the perspective from the RTS commander's seat, as well as the FPS views of fellow teammates fighting on the ground, a cohesive and fluid showcase of Savage XR is achieved. Effectively demonstrating the relationship between commander, player, and the entire team, this video is a must watch for those wanting to quickly show friends and family what Savage: The Battle for Newerth is all about.

(Savage XR movie) Feel the Rhythm
Part One: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gq96AQsULTY
Part Two: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLAQM61Ctus
Created by Drk from Sun clan, this two-part video shows some fancy effects to bring to life really great moments of gameplay and aspects of Savage that are often overlooked. Summoner strikes, to Behemoth attacks, to demolition pack sneak attacks, there are some really great clips here to watch, and you won't be disappointed by the great visual and video effects the video uses near the beginning, and during the credits section. Watch both videos and tell your friends about Savage: The Battle for Newerth! We are waiting for you, will you join the battle?

Part Two: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PY1yIHnVOgU

A full set of three videos are uploaded to Youtube by HurlyBurly3027 which features a wide-span look at the different melee aspects of Savage XR, taken from the viewpoint specifically of a player named Venture, whom the audience follows whilst he takes on worthy and skilled feats against his enemies. If your new to Savage XR, and are curious to watch some gameplay before downloading the game, this is 3-part video collection is a perfect primer to see what this game has in store for you. Check it out!

Super Savage Bros.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTRCgNiKQXQ
This video was put up on Youtube on August 23rd, 2007, and it is a parody of the famous 'Super Mario Bros' franchise. The music and the sound effects mimic the world-famous platformer game, while the video itself is filmed in Savage: The Battle for Newerth, in a completely fan-made map that takes us through scenes you'll remember from the Super Mario Bros games, and you'll see oschores, savages, predators, and stalkers take the place of many characters from the Super Mario Bros. universe. Another great example of the dedicated fan-base Savage: The Battle for Newerth has. =)

The Fall of Shagroth - Official Trailer No. 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guH7bilfsiE
Uploaded on February 16th 2010 to Youtube, this video is a trailer to a fan-based project centering around a story that takes place in the world of Savage: The Battle for Newerth. Within the video you'll realize that although this was not created by the original game company or professional media, it contains the imagination and creativity only fans of a videogame can conjure. Scenes filmed using the game engine, and a narrating voice that attempts to give the video a deep and serious mood will make you think twice before brushing it aside. If you've played Savage for all these years, you'll get what this is all about.

Yes, No and Hello - Voices of War
http://www.myvideo.de/watch/8386197/Yes_No_and_Hello_Voices_of_War
Uploaded on December 23rd 2011 to myvideo.de, the creator, a player named 'Rigoletto', endeavors to bravely put on a masterful piece of ear-shattering brilliance of musical pleasure to the various 'sound clips' from playing Savage: The Battle for Newerth. It is a full six-minutes and some long awesomeness that only the smallest of chiprels would say no to, and if you haven't already started listening to this video by the time this sentence ends, you need to open the video and begin listening right away! If you are interested in seeing where Rigoletto first shared this video with the Savage Community, you can visit this link here: [Link: http://www.newerth.com/smf/index.php/topic,14306.0.html]
