Anyone ever played Eve?

Just wondering if anyone has ever or does play it?

Was never that into mmorpgs, and had trued eve many years ago but just couldnt get into it.
But around 2 years ago when I stopped playing savage the game got my attention through a friend.
I started playing and decided and give it socks, spent hours researching everything about the game and mechanics and very shortly got hooked, sci fi was never my forte so the ships weren't what got me, but instead the intense player driven economy, politics and industry. The idea of one player amassing connections and wealth and being able to use that to make an impact on a universe of hundreds of thousands of players I thought was pretty cool.

So yeah, what are your guys takes on the game?

What are your thoughts so far?

I tried the trial about a year ago, subbed for a few months but then ran out of money to resub. 
Had a break until April/May this year and got dragged in by the recent Dust - Eve links (I've no PS3 unfortunately). 

So I'm new, but no total newb. Joined the relatively new and fast growing corp "Brave Newbies Inc" and started getting blown up a lot! Lost about 100 cheap frigs in my first month, but managed to pop (and pod) quite some stuff as well. [http://zkillboard.com/character/92117929/ - Yes, I'm a professional killmail-whore! ]

Played for about 2 years, run a small time lowsec pirate corp in genesis on an alt and my main is currently deployed in fountain fighting test - yeah I'm a goonie/cfc

Ha, I guess we'll see us on the battlefield soon then! Still not sure which side we join, but it'll probably be TEST/PL
Or maybe Brave Newbies will remain neutral and shoot both, or maybe we'll be allied for a short period of time, who knows! 

2 years is quite a lot tho, how many SP do you have?

Haha, yeah  Tbh getting a little fed up with cfc shenanigans, would be tempted on the near future to apply to BL or PL. 
I have 3 main guys I use, 21m sp cap pilot, 20m sp tengu beast and 11m sp winmitar.

I remember in my early days flying a drake, when i really shouldnt have been, and getting destroyed by an incursus pilot, embarrassing times>.< pretty sure he had a booster in system though.
And I think the dramiel would argue for best frig, IMO atleast

I forgot to mention that I'm also poor...
I don't even t2-fit most of my Incursuses yet, except for special occasions.

Yeah I used to be poor but then PVP started paying out a bit, along with missioning on my tengu
