Spontaneous story writing

I was thinking of writing a story with a given start.Each one has to write one or two phrases of his/her own choosing in such a way that it continues the story in a coherent manner.Everyone will continue what the previous one has said and thus bringing his/her contribution to the story.It would be interesting to see how long can we go on and what kind of story we'll be creating.

Free imagination,free use of devices(photos,videos,music s.o.-related to what was previously said ,of course) or literary tools like simile,metaphors etc.

I think that at some point we'll need to stop and then we'll have to think of a suitable title.

Glad you liked my idea Crash ok let's see...

There it is the gate he heard so much.He looked at it for a few moments,thinking it was not that so impressive.Still hesitating,he made a few steps towards it.

As he is slowly approaching the gate, cautiously, one step at a time, he suddenly heard a rough voice not that far behind him.

"What do you think you're doing, young man?"
He turned around and saw an old man,poorly dressed,holding a strange staff in his right hand.As the man was approaching he could hear the clanking of what he thought to be some keys.

After taking a closer look, he realized, this old man must have been taken captive quite recently. Broken chains were still dangling from his hands and feet. "Why would anybody capture an old man?", he thought, "How dangerous could he possibly be?". He raised his voice and said, "What do you think I'm doing? I'm trying to open that bloody gate!". The old man, clearly upset, started to point his staff right at the young lad's face.

"You're not allowed in there!Nobody is.Turn away from it, right now!"he said with a menacing voice.
"But I need to pass through.My entire journey led me to it."said the young man still not moving.

All of a sudden, the old man's staff started to glow very brightly. White pulsating light, emitted from what appears to be a little crystal mounted to the top of his staff, started to illuminate the whole area.

The nature was still and birds stopped singing.One could feel the manace in the air.
"I'm not afraid of you old man"said the traveller,still not moving but this time starring intenselly into the old man's eyes.The bright light revealed a strange licker into the traveller's narrowed eyes. "You cannot hurt me"

The old man grinned, "Maybe not in this world...". "What do you mean?", the traveller asked concerned. "Meet me on the other side and you'll see..."

"Hm...how does he know I can switch realms?still, I need his gate key.So be it!"thought the traveller.And in an instance he changed into this marvelous being.His body was covered in a blueish glowing armor,his eyes of an intense blue colour and on his back hang a strange crafted sword .However,there was more that missed the eyes about this new man.

The traveller, now being fully transformed, wielded his sword several times. Whenever he wielded his sword a spectral copy was thrown in the direction he was wielding. The spectral copys flew out and then returned to him in a spinning attack. The old man, smitten with surprise, also readied himself for the upcoming fight.

He also was not to be recognised.His entire being was emanating a strong energy and his built was bigger and more powerful.His staff changed .That crystal in the top was now surrounded by a crown of moving and vibrating lights.Every time the traveller cast his spectral those lights would anihilate it.
