This is a building game. The objective is to build a base and defend from zombies,spiders and creepers. VERY ADDICTIVE! 10/10
oh btw you have to pay for it but there is a free version.

Ok so Die, u can find a free download for SC 2... BUT u will be able to play the campain and skrimish only.
If u want Multiplayer, which is kinda the best part of the game, u have to buy the game.
And no, I dont think any privet servers or something else that will let u play the multi for free will be released soon.

Minecraft rules, just tried it, man you can dig so deep into earth, and the random caves you discover, cool game =) I recommend!

Haven't posted here in awhile, but I've pretty much been playing this game soon as I heard about it -- which was perhaps one week after this thread was made. I've already been building in three different worlds (three different save files), and have done so many random things. xD It is indeed, a fun game. Search it on Youtube, google it -- you'll find how fast it's becoming amazingly popular....it might become so famous that people talk about it the way people talk (and make fun of, or hate) World of Warcraft, or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, or Diablo 2. It's becoming that insanely famous, and the entire Minecraft-popularity boost started only this summer 2010.

Anyways, the main point I was going to make was that there is a thread now at newerth.com about Minecraft, and some people from the Savage community have already begun posting screenshots of their creations.

You can honestly do so much stuff in this game. You'll be amazed how simple it looks until you play it yourself. Even if people tell you it's good, you still won't get it until your experiencing your own adventure in the game.

xD I've tried making skyscapers, but I prefer making forts, houses and bases inside caves and mountains. xD Maybe seeing your screenshots Tushaar will finally teach me how to properly build bases high in the sky. xD

Just came across a video on Youtube today showing a hilarious idea/activity someone has done using the fishing rod item in Minecraft. The video was just uploaded yesterday -- I so want to try that sometime soon!
