Tempi, I think you just proved it.
Savage is not your big skill...but photography surely is
EDIT : Morgoth, when I looked at that picture of the lake...that log thing seemed like the Lochness monster. Epic!!

Re: Photography
Wow! Those images show some amazing flat landscapes yet still beautiful-looking farmland. I would love to try hiking or cycling on a bicycle to enjoy a sunny day there sometime. It looks such a nice place to live Sasi!

Re: Photography
What a long and huge trail that must be -- to cover the entire country! I don't think Canada even has a hiking trail that attempts to cover the entire country like that. (We certainly have roads/highways/railways that do, but certainly not hiking/trekking...not that I've heard of!)
Lets make a deal. If you do this trail as one of your next treks at some point in your life Morgoth (pictures will be required as proof!), then I promise I'll do this entire trek too... someday. xD Good deal ja?
(Kidding! Kidding! .... mostly!) xD

Hehe, well there actually IS a trail like that in Canada. Although it's not totally completed yet, a big deal of it is
Btw: the Israƫl-trail is 'just' 940km ;p It's a small country.
BTW2: We've got a deal.

TN Are you kiddddddding??? canada's area is like 5464646547680 times israel .. and by the way, almost all bikers is driving on drive roads (very dangerous)
+ Israel legnth is sth like 800 KM and half of this is desert, a lot of mounts (like jerusalem or Nazereth mounts near my town) so canada's biking and hiking mb more atractive .... but we have really beautifull views in israel

Liez! xD I must be very outdated to not have ever heard or been told about this! What's the name of this trail eh? Must be quite the big project indeed for our canadian government to finish. xD
Sasi! You need to be my tour guide and show me around the trails in Isreal -- maybe one day if Morgoth and myself both travel to Isreal together, then you'll have to do the entire trail with us too. xD

BTW: Sasi, I think you very much underestimate Canada or overestimate Israel: there's not a lot of mountains in Israel. At least not very high ones. Canada's highest is over 5000 metres (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mountains_of_Canada), Israel's is well under 3000 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Mountains_of_Israel) And it is doubted if that mountain is even on Israel's land or if they stole it. But that's a whole other discussion :p
For some serious mountaineering, better go to Canada. Also Canada has a lot more solitude than Israel does. So: outdoor-safety wise, Israel is the better choice.
Wow, what a story. I'm not angry or anything Just pointing this out

Pah, come to Germany! No mountains, no deserts, no wide open landscapes, no awesome beach, no sea, no great lakes or rivers!!! Isn't that a paradise? No?
So, you're arguing on a high level
