American Shorthair.
Did you notice the different eyes? It's a rare genetic mismatch!

I thought so! Well, the eyes didn't trigger my suspicions, but the pokey long ears in contrast with the rest of the cat's body... that seemed strange to me. xD But he...err...she...it... still looks very adorable indeed. xD

Re: Photography
Tempi you were in Vorarlberg? That's kinda close where I live (about 100km away). Perhaps you passed my home city Schwaz when you were driving to Vorarlberg. Or did you fly to Innsbruck by plane?
Nice pictures! I couldn't imagine living without the alps ^^

Oh my goodness, you can capture pictures at very good times of the day -- the light bouncing off the mountains and off the water is simply beautiful.

It has to be beautiful - it's Austria xDTNaismith wrote:Oh my goodness, you can capture pictures at very good times of the day -- the light bouncing off the mountains and off the water is simply beautiful.
Nah nice job Tempi!!
Re: Photography
You know how to make good photos, Tempi!
Those are awesome pictures of a great landscape!
Let's create another rule in this thread:
Everyone who posts a comment or soe text HAS to attach an own photo!
Too much talking, too less pictures here!
I'll start myself with some pictures of my travel to (and in ) Morocco:
(Unfortunately I just had a crappy old camera with a dirty lens )
This one is out of the window of a (crappy) Bus:
I shot this one the next day in the Dunes of Merzougga:
This last one is at the evening, shows why the dunes are called "Red Dunes":
By the way, the big dune in the last two photos is about 100m or more high, took me a while to get on top of it!

I have one more thing to be proud that I live in Iasi,Romania.Last night my city made a new Guiness record: the largest number of lanterns thrown in the air: 12,714 in 8 minutes.Unfortunately,I couldn't take pics myself but I put one here from the internet just to make an idea .It was amazing.
I found some old pics this time taken by me on my way to Vatra Dornei .A heavy rain caught us on the road. The clouds were so close to the ground that it was terrifying.I made it from the moving car.
And this two below were taken at Baicu near Bicaz Lake.I was facinated by the landscape .The sun beans were a surprise for me too when I saw the pic for the first time(i didn't capture them intantionally)Sorry the first pic is not that great but I'm sure you can see it's beauty
Hope you like them.

This is a picture of the moon a friend of mine made while we had a nice barbecue next to/in the forest
You were able to see the "dark part" of the moon as a lighter shadow,
the camera showed that it wasn't just a glitch in our eyes but the "real moon"!

Wow! That's quite an amazing picture you don't normally see with the naked eye. At least, not here in Canada, unless you've got superb vision!

Re: Photography
The second and third picture reminds me a lot of scotland. The highlands and loch ness. I've been there only once, so I can't say for sure, but they remind me of it a lot somehow...very beautiful landscape, very soothing.
