A random Savage graphics...
Just something I whipped up for this week's weekly Savage-related artwork contribution. I don't really know where this could be useful. I just made it like this 'cause I think it looked nice. Guess I could put it somewhere on the website or something, but mostly it was just for fun.

Re: A random Savage graphics...
Jumping Chiprels, that is one stunning graphics image! It has an emotional openness feeling, very inspiring.
I have a few questions;
- Is the background a real photo, or is it fake? (Ie. Created using computer animation) I can't quite tell if it's real or not, the pillars look slightly fake, but not too sure.
- What text font is that? That was a really nice choice of font to use for the image. It matched really well, and I think it's one of those 'finale' touches that make it look professional. Well done.
Very nice stuff. Tip for next time, if you've got an image really big, then when people view it, things tend to get slightly messed up on the forums. It's a standard protocol to provide a smaller thumbnail link to this image if possible (Imageshack.us offers this), or if that can't be done, simply provide the link for people to click. Still, uploading massive images like this once in awhile is fine.
A small hunch; Is this image made to be a desktop background kind of image? It seems just the right size to put as my desktop. =)
Actually...I think I'll try it out on my desktop...

Re: A random Savage graphics...
Well, thanks. i used a short-film i found on youtube with the hills and sky, and pillars are simply layercopied (you copy something in to the picture, in a diferent layer, and you draw over them) in from some screenshots i made in savage moon (a pretty unknow game) the efects (water reflection) are done by a freind, who doesnt do anything else than that. the front is batik regular. if you want it, il send it thru (note: its big for a screensaver or wallpaper => 2500*1563 => i think its too big for a wallpaper. The mist is pretty easy, i juse twisted brush, its a free paint program,a nd you have airbrush there, just switch it on in white, edit the desety and done
Thakyou for all the positive comments

Ah! So this entire image was a compilation of different effects and layer copies. That is an amazing piece of work. I just watched some videos of Savage Moon. I am impressed you took a screenshots from that and layer copied into the picture. The water effects, and the mist effects were really good -- I never thought they were added in, I thought they were part of the original picture.
You and your friend could be concept artists if you wanted, haha.
Awesome.

Whoah drag! Nice picture! I wonder...what effects are being used on the planet? (All that zig-zag lines of light, etc) Looks like a very cool brush/filter?
xD I like how you sign your images with 'With love, Drag'. This can become your world famous trademark. xD
