Project: Minecraft Server

- improving the free seed house (there should be all saplings available, all seeds, all flowers, all mushrooms...

still todo:
- trading house / bank
- finishing the warehouse
- plugin improvement (finishing permissions, portals, defining city areas)
- ...

So far I'm pretty sure we reach our main goal (Finishing the main city and the server preparations till January 1st)

Well, I've built a pirate galleon and a pirate hideout - also prepared an event regarding such things. I was also planning to upgrade some of the scenery - for example the lamps on the streets, add some of them so our city is lit up, etc. I dunno about all the free stuff, won't people get bored easily if we give them everything they need?

perhaps ill add a limitation: like one seed per day or sth

I build this castle as entrance to an dungeon and "residence" for an group of people



the Proof of Existence is just an extra idea because you have to pass it (and see who build in the origins of the server the city and everything) to enter the dungeon

anyways there are lots of unfinished building in our main town and i would be happy if these building projects get finished as soon as possible. the main town should not contain block ruins or weird looking structures. because there is already a lack of space in the inner main town we will be forced to destroy old ruins if they don't get finished or if we don't understand the reason for these buildings. of course there will be a notification before the building/ruin actually gets destroyed.

Our next goal will be writing rules for our blockhunterz server. Rules are really important and they should be easy to understand for everybody.
Some examples: Greet everybody when you join the server!
Say "Good bye" when you are leaving the server!
Don't destroy buildings you don't possess!
And so on...

Maybe a Minecraft Coordinator can help me with that. I'd really appreciate some help =)

Until now I'm really proud of what WE ALL have built on our server! Our goal is nearly reached and our project seems to be a great success! When the mainproject is over, I promise there will be an awesome minecraft event!

Show mature, respectful behavior - greet people, treat them nicely or neutrally, say goodbye, don't destroy other people's stuff or steal from them for any reason whatsoever (you wouldn't like it if people destroyed your creations, so don't be a creeper.)
don't modify other people's creations withour their permission.
(possibly) ask around if you want to build something on an area, that might be chosen for construction already or should remain unharmed (since this is a tiny server, everyone will likely know everyone else's creations, so you probably know where to ask)
don't crash events (destroy something that the functionality of an event bases on)
try to check out the forum once in a while for critical updates regarding our minecraft - plugin updates, server updates, map backups etc. will be posted there

can't think of any more right now...if these suggestions are still needed, anyway.
